 Innovations for the Developing World

Innovations for the Developing World by Erick Shonfeld is a writing about two inventions which are helping people who are developing countries. The inventor name is Dean Kamen. Kamen wants to solve problems which are water for drinking and electricity of developing countries. Kamen experiments the machines for electricity in real situation. It is significant innovation because it can help developing countries people who don’t have productivity and leisure time. And he’s another device is water-cleaning machine. Kamen and Iqbal Quadir have joined for distributing the machines for rural villages. Their vision is to copy the decentralized economic distribution model with electricity. They believe that model will be more beneficial for developing country.

I impressed about his initiative because many people knew the developing countries problems. But they didn’t show in their action. Also, he invented some inventions then proceeded to adapt the real situation. Of course his inventions were made to consider actualities. So, it helps people who really need machines.

  1. Good work but two comments: 1. Use reporting verbs in the summary. 2. Write a fully developed paragraph for the response. This is too short.
