Creaney, Leon. Savulescu, Julian. and Vondy Anna(October 22, 2013). Should athletes be allowed to use performance enhancing drugs?. BMJ online. Retrieved May 27, 2015.

This article shows us the both sides of PEDs, which are pros and cons. Savulescu argues that rather than anning performance enhancing drugs we should regulate their use, but Creaney and Vandy state that would lead to increasing use and call for tougher enforcement. Savulescu argues that three good points of using PEDs, which are improving athletes abilities, improving safety, and allowing a substance safer. However, Creaney and Vondy have a counter arguments, which are that it might be escalating problems, making engineered athletes, and working by bans.
We can trust this article. First, it is a current article; it updated on October, 2013. Authors are experts for health, and there is an e-mail address. We can answer what we wonder. They get their information from publications and web. At the last page of this article it has references. This article is designed to persuade. It has objective information.
I can understand both opinions which are related about using PEDs. Sources are useful, so I can use that information to support my opinion.

professional athletes should be allowed to use performance-enhanciong drugs?

While some people claim that it is not true all PEDs have bad effects, so they state PEDs should be allowed as long as they are monitored. However, in my opinion, it should be banned. There are two reasons. First, athletes have to compete fairly. As Catlin(2012) states, "Just as all athletes must begin at the same starting line, they must also abide by the rules about what drugs they use." The next reason is that it is bad for athletes’ heath. According to using PEDs they might be suffered from some diseases which cause to PEDs. Goodman mentions, "As I have listened to fighters discussing their performance-enhancing drug use, along with their accompanying heart, kidney, liver, bone, brain and psychiatric ailments." Because of those reason it should be banned for athletes and their competitors.

response

In my opinion if the interviewees come from a lower standard than India they might not feel comfortable. There are three reasons. At first, some people undergo discrimination when they have been countries, which have better economy situation. It’s like ignorance, and they hard to dispute others who ignored them. Of course expatriates might face hostility, not hospitality. Second, if interviewees live in a lower standard than India’s they can’t enjoy themselves for their financial problem. Some of the interviews are a teacher who teaches students to talk their own language. If they are a poor national people Indian might not learn expatriates’ native language.  If they can’t get a job in India their life is not satisfied. The last reason is that their work atmosphere maybe different from their countries. Interviewees feel comfortable because India’s work environment. But if they have not been abundance country they might not adapt new environment. If they are suffered from poor, they can’t concentrate their new culture. In conclude, if expatriates don’t have a nationality background like now, they may not enjoy their life in India.

A government mandatory is to take care of people who need some helps and aids. It is not only their fellow countrymen but also other countries people like developing people. Global warming is caused by greenhouse effect which is increased by human activities, and that becomes mainly reasons to developing countries. According to Handwerk(2004) states “Humane activities, burning fossil fuels concentrations by producing these gases(greenhouse gases) faster, have greatly increased than plants and oceans can soak them up”(line 117). This show developed countries have some responsibilities about global warming and that means they have a duty which is to blame for environment refugees. Also, Environment refugees can’t recover by themselves. The situation is getting worse. As Kakissis(2010) explains “…more than 90 percent of the Korail slum’s residents never leave because they cannot save enough money to leave”(para. 22). It means even though ERs endeavor to overcome their misery situation, but they can do that. We have to help them to recover their conditions. The last is that Global warming is not just problems of some specific countries. We are apt to think it isn’t our problem. However, global warming is a problem which is we have to solve together. Because Global warming is caused by rise sea levels. it is influenced by whole countries.

After viewing the movie

Q. Why did the filmmakers decided to have Siku be an ice sculptor? How does that choice of profession and type of art relate to the themes in the film?

Vincente and Siku are Environment Refugees. They lost almost everything because of melting ice. The filmmakers want to show us how they overcome their trauma about ice. At the first, Siku is an ice sculptor. It looks contradiction; however, I think it is a kind of reconciliation. Even though he lost his precious things by melting ice, but he has got good memories about ice. He sculpts ice, thereby he overcome his bad experience. The second, Vincente has some hostilities of ice, so he destroyed Siku’s arts and ice cubes. When Siku teaches how to make ice sculpture to Vincente the boy throw the ice. Siku looks at that and he does same action. It looks they throw their trauma. The last is that finally, Vincente remembers his happiness memories. Siku shows an action which is  rubbing  the ice on his face. Vincente looks at that, and he follows that action. In the end, he recalls his good experience before he becomes an environment refugee.
